Reil meets Howard

I babysat my best friends nephew Reil today and brought him to my work meeting! I hadn't seen him in forever and he's grown so much; he's such a little stud! Reil met Howard the bear today! He liked him for a little bit, but after he wouldn't take his nap he began to get a little cranky and no longer liked Howard!:)

I've been dreadfully sick with a stomach virus and out of comission for awhile, so needless to say Doug and I's Valentine's day "weekend" wasn't too eventful, but it was great just being able to spend time with him, and knowing he was there to take care of me:)

This deer and a few others, including a huge buck were wandering around behind my workplace around dinner time, when all the resident's were in the dining room! I tried to get a good picture of the buck on my cell phone but he was too fast!

"I Heart Kisses" Photo Entry

I've been meaning to enter into a IHeartFaces photo contest for a long time, and have not gotten around to it! But I had the most perfect picture for the theme this week: I Heart Kisses"!

Before I became a nurse, I worked many jobs as a "Coffee Shop Girl" (Which is what my boyfriend of 4 years calls me). We met at this drive thru coffee shop called Fusion in Colorado when I worked there 3 and a half years ago! This picture was inspired by a photo I have seen of a male and a female kissing out of two seperate cars in the rain. I thought it fitting that my boyfriend and I have a picture like this of the time we first met and he swept me off my feet! The coffee shop is now for sale, and I'm hopping his parents will buy it so that we can someday take an engagement picture exactly like this:)hehe

Doug and I drove to the tiny air strip in Greeley today to watch the planes take off, which was actually pretty fun! He's always thinking about different things we could do together that would give me some cool photo opportunities. He says he loves just driving around with me and exploring, and letting me use my new camera to take pictures!

There were a ton of planes taking off and landing today; I just wish I had a zoom lens for my new camera! It's definatly on my wish list!

Spending the day with my amazing boyfriend!

As we were leaving the air strip, Doug pulled over so I could get a shot of this old abandoned house...since he knows I like abandoned barns and buildings haha

Since there was nothing else on our agenda, we just decided to take a drive. Doug insisted I get a picture of this water tower. This was a town he used to go to when he was little to play with a few of his friends, so he has a lot of memories in Nunn!:)
