Oatmeal Cookies

It was CNA week a while back, and for some reason our CNA's at work did not get acknowledged with anything special, so I baked some oatmeal raisin and oatmeal nut cookies tonight to bring to work tomorrow for all the CNA's on our unit.

"The Proposal"

Today the "Proposal" came out so Randi, Angela and I went to go see it! I don't want to spoil it, so all I'll say is, is that it was a hilarious movie, and I definatly reccomend it! Oh, and that Ryan Reynolds is pretty gosh darn attractive!

The cool thing is, is that the fire alarm went off during the previews so we all got rain checks for a free movie after the movie was over:) Yay!

After the storm...

Well, I was planning on leaving Doug's house today while he was at work, and after I had gotten ready, but I got a phone call from him saying that there was a tornado watch for the area right behind his house. It was hailing and raining terribly, so he told me to run upstairs and bring the 3 dogs in the house. Well it was a little chaotic trying to get all three dogs in, especially since they couldn't hear me yelling their names, and I didn't want to go outside to bring them in, but finally all three dogs made it into the house; and I got a shower by all three of them!! Haha

After the storm...
Comes the rainbow, and along with that I am reminded of God's promise to us that he will never again flood the Earth:) God is so Amazing! This was the second rainbow I got to see in a week:)

My Baby Bought some Bonsai trees

We went to the Taste of Fort Collins today for a little bit; it was fun, but it wasn't as big as I thought it would be! I really wanted to go see the Gin Blossoms in concert at the Taste, but it ended up starting to rain. And since we still had 2 hours before they started and had run out of things to see at the Taste, we decided to leave:( Doug did buy me this amazing photo of a rose on canvas that I really wanted though!

One of the booths at the Taste of Fort Collins was a bonsai tree booth. Doug had always wanted one, so he bought this baby box elder; it is 15 years old!
I think he watered it about 5 times in the day that I was there! It was funny:) He wants to give it to his kids one day.

We also got this baby Juniper tree because his roomate said he wanted one as well.

Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory

Pearl Street: Boulder, CO

Kissing this Frog and hoping he turns into my Prince:)
This little boy was so adorable putting his finger in this guys mouth when water was squirting out; I asked his dad for a picture of him(just wish he would have looked up). It was too cute of an opportunity to pass up; especially s ince I have an obsession with small children hehe

This cafe was super cute

I got a chai at this coffee shop
This is the cupcake shop my mom and I really wanted to taste test at hehe; notice the open sign is not lit up; we were pretty bummed:(

The first coffee shop we went to when we arrived on Pearl Street; we went back for a piece of carrot cake once we were disappointed that the cupcake shop was closed:(

This picture would have turned out better if the mirror was clean:)
