Pumpkin Carving
Doug came to CO springs on two of my days off b/c he knew I really wanted to carve pumpkins with him this year! Even though it was a short stay, I'm glad I was able to spend time with him!
Here he is working hard at poking holes in his pumpkin:)
This is the outline of my pumpkin design; it was called Bug a Boo; haha it was so cute!

Celebrating Doug's 21st at Cinebarre
Since I couldn't spend Doug's actual birthday with him on the 10th of Oct. because I was working, we went on a date to Cinebarre 2 days late. Cinebarre is a Movie/Dinner theater in Thornton, CO that is awesome! You go in and there is a counter in front of your seats; they have menus that have the names of movies as the food title. You write down what you want to eat and drink (including alcholic beverages) and a waitress comes around and takes your ticket; then they serve the food to you as you watch the movie! You can continue to order things off the menu until a half hour before the movie is over! Doug and I went to go see Zombiland; because it was his bday treat, I let him pick; neither of us liked it:) But the experience at the dinner/movie theater was so cool! I can't wait to go back!

The Albuquerque Botanical Gardens
Honey I Shrunk the Kids!
The Fairy Tale Tower
The fire-breathing dragon!!
The moat
The tower my Prince is going to climb up to save me from the fire-breathing dragon
The garden around the castle was very plentiful, as you can see:)
Okay..so this is when I started feeling like I was in honey I shrunk the kids; although these ants were friendly.
I was shocked when even Doug hopped on for a ride:)
Oh my word a overgrown radish! There was a potatoe too, but I didn't get a picture of it:(
Uh oh, all these large veggetables were making me a little hungry!
After making our way underground, Doug and I came upon this enormous cavern. It took me about 2 minutes to finally figure out that we were inside a ginormous pumpkin!
Herre are the pumpkin seeds...I thought this was so adorable!
"Look what I found baby! A huge pinecone!" Hehe Doug is so cute
I love leaves and the changing of their colors!
A huge spider that was at the entrance of a maze
The outside of the pumpkin
Oh man, I would definatly not want to get sprayed by that large hose!
After making it through the maze...finally; we headed toward the gardens. As I walked under this flower, I heard a loud buzzing; which freaked me out! Luckily the bee was fake:)
We made it out of the maze and into a garden with a big watering can and big packets of flower seeds:)
It was super adorable!

The small children around us probably thought Doug and I were crazy! But this place was so cute, i couldnt help but act like a kid! A little boy looking from up above the maze even helped us to get through it...it was so cute. He kept going, "no that way that way, that guy is going the wrong way." So I'd go find Doug and we'd kiss in a corner of the maze a bit hehe then we' come back out and the boy would be like "where'd you two go, I'm trying to help you get out" :)
I told Doug that I wanted him to make a place like this in our backyard one day for our kids:)
